The Weekend thus far
OK, so including friday, I have done nothing much this weekend. I skipped out on semi last night because it's stupid. It's a waste of $25 dollars to sit and listen to music. The only reason semi would have been fun is that we had a limo for after the dance and all the guys went out to federal hill, and then on to Joe's house.
Friday was friday the 13th, but luckily the only bad luck I was struck with was my weedwacker finally crapping out on my. It was the worst two stroke weedwacker you could think of. It never started, was severly underpowered, and it always used to just randomly stall. Now that it's dead I can hit up my mom for a new one.
The only other real exciting thing that happened was when I was talkign to Domenic (suds) about how aliens are controlling us and the government is a lie and all that. I don't really know how we reasoned this, but it's the truth.
I spent my free time reviewing my summer plans, and it appears that I found several ways to make my summer 10 times more hectic than my school year. I was planning on teaching at Edgewood Sailing School this year, but they chose to hire Will Bill instead, so I am now a dock hand at the club. I also landed a job as the official driver of my uncles 1976 Porsche 911 3.0 carrera (the only Porsche ever completely assembled in Germany until the Cayanne) because my aunt does not not know how to opperate a stick shift well. My Uncle Steve likes to drive his boat back and forth to Block Island, but he'd never let my aunt do it alone because she would be scared and probably break something. So I have been assigned the task of driving the Porsche down to the ferry landing at Pt. judith, taking the car over via ferry, leaving the car in their spot at Champlin's, and then going to hang out on the boat for as long as it is docked in BI. My third job is working the sound/recoding booth for my mom's boyfreind's, justin, shows over the summer. I get paid $50 a day. I also want to find time (somewhere in between all of this) to go to the Oasis concert in July, and get tickets to go see the premier of the New Dispatch movie. It is entitled "The Last Dispatch," but it's totally different than the All Points Bulletin CD/DVD set, The new movie is a documentary about the band's history and the twelve final days leading up to the biggest indie rock movement in history. 110,000 STRONG!!! The movie is set to open on the aniversary of the concert, July 31. The night before there is an Elias fund raiser, but I don't think I can attend that.
