"Stay Here" -Patrick Porcaro

It's that time of year again,
The air is warm and the water's cool,
I can feel the sand beneath my toes,
This beautiful season ends so soon,

Please, Stay with me...

Her free spirit has no roots here,
The window's open and her path is clear.
Shes leaving today,
I can't find the words to make her stay,

Please, Stay here with me

Love feels so real,
My heart, will it ever heal?
Love is on TV, It's not part of my reality,

Love is like a stream,
It lives in my dream,
I drink there,
At the sandy bottom I stare
I see how shallow it really is,
And I feel so empty,
On the inside I cry,
How could've I been so blind?

I guess I couldn't make her stay...

yeah, so i got kinda nostalgic today and wrote a song. I know it's lame, but the guitar tracks are cool. My vocals suck, so i may have to bring in someone else to lay down the vocal tracks for me. do i have any takers?

El School

...It's almost over... the hour of summer fun is upon us now.
Tomarrow is my history exam,
I get my liscense in 6 days,
Planning a trip to Newport for Wednesday
IM me if you want in. We'll most likely park at my aunt's house and then go to second beach or soemthing, and then if she's at the house, we may use thier grill and have a nighttime cookout or something. I really don't know yet. I have to get in touch with me aunt first. We may be stuck just parking at the beach.

Nothing unusual, Nothing strange, Close to nothing at all. It's the same old scenario, it's the same old rain. And there's no explosions here.

So I began working again. Yup, that's right, back to the grind folks. I have a feeling that this summer isnt going to be what I thought it would be. I had the preconception that this summer would be the coolest summer ever, since I was getting my liscense, but apparently I have to work, and not at the job I wanted. Instead I have three jobs that are going to eat up all of my free time. It's the price I pay for being a musician. Also, I venture into this summer without a new girlfriend.

Last night was a blast. I went out to waterfires with Brit and a couple of her friends, hung around in the mall (which sucked. I hate the mall. I was dragged there), I saw an old freind, Jarod Santoro, whom i haven't seen since the summer after i moved out of my dad's house (2001?). Then, since Brittany's dad was out and about, we decided to kill some time by going out to Pastiche with my mom (I know it's lame but she paid and I don't have any money). Soon after we left for Brit's house, only to find that her dad had left her without the proper key to get into her house... so after some handy ladder work, I got her in. Ten minutes later her dad got home.

Saturdays and Sundays from 2 to 6 i am working, except form Mike's graduation party. so basically, the good part of my summer has been consumed by work. i get three days to myself where i get to play erand boy. well, whatever, at least i will have my liscense and a jetta. =)

It's been a long time, but I still got you on my mind

Yeah, it's a Bob Marley lyric. i only put it there because it's been a long time since i have updated, not like i'm actually missing anyone or anything. Instead of recapturing the past two weeks, i'm looking ahead to the future: summertime.

so here's what's coming up:

exams june 13-16
linscense test june 21st
end of june - away for Hypnotist shows
july 22 (hopefully. if i can still snag tickets) Oasis Concert
July 30 (if i'm back in time) Elias fundraiser
July 31 (if i'm back in time) The Last Dispatch Premier at the sommerville theater
august - away for the last three weeks and missing the beging of school to do more hypnotism shows.
sept - back to the school thing
In between all this - working at EYC and spending what i have left of the weekends at Block Island.

greatly anticipating the release of the Powerbook G5. It's gotta come soon. you may ask "why?" well, it's been four years since the powerbooks have seen a new processor, the iMac G5 was a large leap in the right direction of the smaller and cooler blade processor design that Apple needed, but it still generates a lot of heat and has 3 vertically mounted fans (which make large differences in cooling abilities). But, they tried this new silicon format thing (i forgot what its really called) for the G5 to make it shorter and cooler, but the test results and prgress have yet to been processed. Mac keeps making IBM shut the hell up. Now that IBM is owned by some japanese, maybe the processors will come quicker. and i hope, because i'm still on a G3. Dont get me wrong, i love me G3, but having a G5 powerbook.... the thought is orgasmic.
